This Privacy Policy describes how StratumAI ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the StratumAI mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
1. Information We Collect
StratumAI is designed with privacy in mind. Depending on how the App is configured, study materials you provide (such as pasted text, uploaded chapters, essays, or articles) may be processed on your device or sent to an AI inference service solely to generate quizzes, feedback, mind maps, or related outputs. We do not use your content for unrelated purposes.
The App may automatically collect the following non-personal technical data:
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- Crash logs and diagnostic information (to improve stability)
- Anonymous usage statistics (feature interactions, session duration)
2. Advertising – Google AdMob
StratumAI may use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and use certain data to provide personalized or non-personalized ads, including:
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS / GAID on Android)
- IP address and general location (country/region level)
- Device information and interaction data with ads
- In-app behavior signals used for ad relevance
Google AdMob's data collection and use is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings: Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising (iOS) or Settings → Google → Ads (Android).

Locally saved study items, history, or exports (if any) remain on your device unless you delete them within the App or by uninstalling the App. Diagnostic and analytics data may be retained for up to 12 months in anonymized form.

StratumAI is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
